يعد المرصد الإقليمي أحد أنشطة مشروع “تعزيز أدوار المنظمات غير الحكومية في التنمية المستدامة والعمل المناخي (تمكين مستدام)” الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي الذي تنفذه جمعية بادر للتنمية المستدامة بمحافظة الفيوم وبتمويل من الاتحاد الأوروربي بالشراكة مع مؤسسة مصر الخير ويسهم المرصد في دعم الحوكمة والتنمية المستدامة وتعزيز مشاركة منظمات المجتمع المدني في صنع القرار وصياغة السياسات، كما تدعم عمليات التقييم والرصد، وإعداد تقارير دورية حول حالة التنمية المستدامة على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي والوطني.
- كما تهدف المراصد إلى متابعة تنفيذ أهداف التنمية المستدامة والعمل المناخي على المستوى المحلي.
- وتعزيز دور الجمعيات كمحرك أساسي في التنمية من خلال توليد المعرفة وتوثيق الممارسات الناجحة وإتاحة الحوار المجتمعي.
