The Regional Observatory is one of the activities of the project “Strengthening  the Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in Sustainable Development and Climate Action “, funded by the European Union and implemented by Bader NGO in Fayoum Governate in partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation.

The Observatory contributes to supporting governance and sustainable development, while strengthening the participation of civil society organizations in decision-making and policy formulation. It also supports assessment and monitoring processes and prepares periodic reports on the state of sustainable development at the local, regional, and national levels.

Furthermore, the observatories aim to monitor the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate action initiatives at the local level. They also seek to enhance the role of associations as key drivers of development through knowledge generation, documentation of successful practices, and the promotion of community dialogue.
