The Strategy was implemented by the team members of Bader Association in their professional capacity.The strategy for the development of the medicinal and aromatic plants sector in Fayoum Governorate aims to provide an integrated vision and action plan for the advancement and development of the sector by taking advantage of the previous experiences locally and internationally while maximizing the utilization of the local capabilities of the local and regional competencies In the production of medicinal and aromatic plants, which is considered a great opportunity that must be used.
The strategy relies primarily on the support and development of the medicinal and aromatic plants sector in Fayoum through the support of the value added chain. The strategy for the development of the medicinal and aromatic plants sector in Fayoum is based on the application of the methodology of the cultivation of medicinal plants. The strategy includes a set of programs that achieve the goals of developing agricultural and manufacturing processes associated with medicinal and aromatic plants and the incorporation of medicinal plants as an industry in sectoral policies and development projects through their management on an ad hoc basis, as well as the development of production and marketing systems and the strengthening of the pharmaceutical and food industries that depend on medicinal plants in order to improve trade, export, and support the founders for managing medicinal and aromatic plants products
